During the incoming President’s inauguration address, he stated “we are transferring power from Washington DC, and giving it back to you, the people.”  Let’s take full advantage of this offer and take action towards positive change.

In my opinion, this call to action is not a partisan call.  As UUs we follow a set of 7 principles and right now several of our principles are being violated (oppressed) by some of those in power. We cannot idly sit by and have faith that those in power will do the right thing.  Now is the time to pound the steps of Capitol Hill in D.C, the steps of the State Capitol in Harrisburg, and the steps of our local government offices.  Find a cause that gets your blood boiling and do something about it.
