Pro Tem Covid-19 UUCV Building Closure Policy

Drafted July 26, 2020 and revised August 5, 2020 by the SCRT. Approved by the Board on August 12, 2020.

Since March 2020, UUCV’s building has been closed to help limit the spread of COVID-19, and shall remain closed until this policy is amended.

These are the very limited exceptions to this building closure policy:

  • UUCV staff (Minister, Office Administrator, Music Director, Director of Lifespan Faith Development, and Custodian) may enter the building as needed in the performance of their job duties.
  • Board members and committee chairs should only enter the building for church business that absolutely requires in-person presence, such as signing a check.
  • Individuals designated as grounds/building maintenance volunteers may enter the building solely for the purpose of completing necessary checks and maintenance.

All other activities must be approved in advance by the Board President and/or Minister.

Any individual in the building for any reason must wear a mask at all times, except when alone in a private office with the door closed.
