FRIENDSHIP DINNER-Putting our faith into actionMoving Circles has launched a new initiative… Friendship Dinners. We held our first dinner in May at the YWCA Carlisle and we’re warmly inviting you to our next dinner on August 17 at the Bible Way Hibner Memorial Church, 223 Walnut Street in Carlisle.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said: “People fail to get along because they fear each other; they fear each other because they don’t know each other; they don’t know each other because they have not communicated with each other.”
Moving Circles’ intention with these community potluck dinners is for us to get to know each other, break bread together, and build relationships. This is a real opportunity to more expansively build “Beloved Community” — it takes all of us!
