In recognition of June as National Immigrant Heritage Month and World Refugee Day (annually on June 20) we will hold our 2nd Annual World Refugee Day Block Party at Maclay and N.2nd Streets on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 12- 3 pm. The event is outdoors, rain or shine, and includes free family-friendly activities and live multicultural performances.  Food may be purchased from a food truck court.

Our region’s Afghan community will be celebrated this year through the Afghan Food Festival. Contestants will prepare their favorite Afghan dish, and event attenders may taste the delicious entries (available while supplies last) and cast their vote for their favorite!
