We are all deeply dismayed and saddened by the horrific rocket attacks and the continuing reports of death and destruction in Israel and Gaza, as this newest war unfolds. As this heart-wrenching situation continues, it is only natural for us, as UU’s, to seek comfort and support from our community as we process the horrors of what is happening.

On Sunday, October 15, at 7:00 PM., please join us in the sanctuary as we gather for a Community Candlelight Vigil for Peace. 

Together, we hope and pray for reconciliation and peace in the region, and we express sorrow for all the innocent victims of this war. As Pope Francis said recently, “every war is a defeat.”
