On this Memorial Day, we gather to honor those who have died in military service and to hold the weight of that sacrifice with care. As people of faith, we are called not only to remember, but to remain curious—about the stories we inherit, the realities of war, and the deep longing for peace that lives within us. Together, we make space for grief, gratitude, and the sacred work of asking what it means to live differently in light of their memory. Rev. Phoenix Bell-Shelton Biggs preaches.
Join us for in-person worship in our Sanctuary every Sunday at 10:30am or on Zoom or “listen in” (without video) by telephone by calling 646-876-9923 and entering Meeting ID 550 751 6685.
After the Time for All Ages, our young people will head downstairs to the Dining Hall with their group leaders for an all-ages RE activity. We’ll be going outside, weather permitting, for games and ice pops. Nursery Care will also be available during the service from 10:15 – 11:30 am.
