John Terlazzo & Voices in the Hall Returns to UUCV for an evening of original song

On Saturday, June 3rd at 7 PM, Singer-Songwriter John Terlazzo (Yes, that John Terlazzo, married to Rev. Cindy Terlazzo!) will return with his band for another evening of Original Songs.  You may remember their last performance here at UUCV just before the arrival of the Pandemic three years ago.  John is featured, singing his songs and playing guitar and harmonium, and accompanied by Kristina Machusick on flute, recorders and harmony vocals, Paul Wegmann on harmony vocals & lead guitar and JD Stillwater on percussion.  Together they will perform songs from John’s vast catalog spanning from the 1970s to the present, including new and unrecorded selections.  Suggested Donation is $5 – $20 per person.  More than half of the door will benefit the UUCV.

Terlazzo belongs to the same lineage of songpoets as Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, but also the 15th century’s John Dowland, Virgil of the first century B.C., and Homer from an even earlier time…it feels good to hear the pure poetic muscle Terlazzo brings to bear, and be reassured that somebody still knows how to sling it”.
