Help ease local hunger by making your favorite casserole, salad, or dessert to donate to the Community CARES shelter for their dinner meal on Sunday,
May 31.
To volunteer please email Pam and indicate which salad, casserole, or dessert you will donate. We’d like to have a good variety, kind of like a pot luck dinner!
We need 6 9x13casseroles (like chicken & rice, mac&cheese, enchiladas, pot pie, etc)
Also needed – 6 different salads (like Cole slaw, tossed, bean salad, spinach)
And Desserts, such as cookies, cupcakes, brownies ( 10 dozen or so)
We will also need 6 gallons of milk, iced tea, & lemonade, (2 gal of each)
The casseroles, salads, & desserts need to be brought in nonreturnable, disposable containers.
All donated items need to be brought to the church parking lot by 3:30 on Sunday, May 31. If you need someone to pick up your donation, please call either Cindy Good 717-440-2069, or Mike Riesmeyer 724-822-4105. Any questions call Carol Riesmeyer, 724-822-6423.
