Worship: “No Liberation Without the Labor of the Oppressed”

Led  Rev. Phoenix Bell-Shelton Biggs
Labor Day Weekend & RE Open House

This Labor Day, we center the sacred, often unseen labor of those who have been pushed to the margins—those whose survival, resistance, and care hold the world together. From Gaza to the grocery store, from protest lines to hospital rooms, the labor of the oppressed is the labor that makes justice possible. In this service, Rev. Phoenix Bell-Shelton Biggs calls us into global solidarity and faithful action, naming that emotional labor, caregiving, and liberation work are not secondary—they are essential. Come be reminded that freedom is not granted—it is built, together.

Join us for in-person worship in our Sanctuary every Sunday at 10:30 am or on ZOOM. or “listen in” (without video) by telephone, by calling 646-876-9923 and entering Meeting ID 550 751 6685
