We worship on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m.

Eastern time, in person and online Via Zoom.

Worship at UUCV is where we seek meaning, nurture connection, and are called to live with wisdom and compassion. Unitarian Universalist congregations are unique, and UUCV is no exception. Our services are a thoughtful, dynamic blend of different traditions and styles.

On any given Sunday, you might experience:

Contemplative moments: Quiet spaces for deep, silent reflection and personal meditation.

A mix of the modern and traditional: Thoughtful, grounded reflections paired with contemporary energy.

Diverse music: From energetic, uplifting hymns to serene instrumental pieces.

While no two Sundays are exactly alike, a typical morning service at UUCV weaves together several meaningful elements:

• Words of Welcome: A warm greeting opening our doors (and hearts) to everyone present.
• Lighting the Chalice: We begin by lighting the flaming chalice, the universal symbol of our free faith.
• A Story for All Ages: A multigenerational segment where children and adults share a moment of learning and laughter together.
• Music & Song: Diverse vocal and instrumental performances that move the spirit.
• Joys and Concerns: A sacred time to lift up the personal milestones, sorrows, and hopes of our community.
• Meditation & Prayer: A quiet pause to center ourselves and breathe.
• Readings: Wisdom drawn from ancient teachings, modern poetry, science, and literature.
• The Sermon: An inspiring message delivered by our minister, a guest speaker, or a member of our congregation.
• The Offering: An opportunity to practice generosity, supporting the work of our congregation and our justice partners in the wider community.
• Families, Children & Youth: We love having families worship together! During our regular Sunday services, we also offer warm, welcoming childcare and engaging youth learning programs. Your children are always welcome to stay in the service with you or join their peers for age-appropriate fun and exploration.

Our Online Community

Can’t make it to Boiling Springs in person? Join us online! Wherever you are, UUCV is a community you can be part of. Worship with us from home, while traveling, or from wherever life finds you. Whether you’re in the sanctuary or joining through a screen, you belong here.

Sunday worship begins at 10:30 AM. Our virtual sanctuary opens at 10:15 AM, so you can settle in before the service.

Bring a Flame: We invite you to have a candle or virtual flame ready to light with us during our chalice lighting.
