DESCRIPTION:With the pending forecast\, UUCV will be on ZOOM only this Sunday\, January 7.  The Town Hall will be rescheduled until Sunday\, January 14 following worship.\n“Fire Communion: A Service for all Ages”  Join us for a very special all-ages worship service celebrating our annual Fire Communion.  The new calendar year invites us to let go of that which held us back last year\, and to embrace the future with renewed hope.  In a special ritual\, we will write down words or phrases which sum up those things we want to release before we begin again.  We will then burn those slips of paper in a ritual of release\,Lynn Sodora leads the service with worship associate Melissa Mattson. \nItems to have ready for the online Fire Communion worship service: \n\nChalice & candle (if you have one)\n2 small  slips of paper and pen for each person\nFire-safe bowl:  During the Fire Communion we will light one of the small slips of paper on fire.  You can use a fire-safe bowl (even a cooking pot will do) in a safe area to light your paper indoors.
